| Rohingya to Myanmar |
The United States
on Thursday advised Bangladesh
to help keep its border available to Rohingya refugees running Myanmar within
the wake of June violence but recommended their safe repatriation like a
lengthy-term solution.
A delegation from the U.S. Condition Department lately
visited the troubled region in Myanmar
where violence between Rakhaine Buddhists and Rohingya Muslims in June left a
minimum of 80 people dead. They later visited refugee camps of Rohingya in Bangladesh’s
southern Cox’s Bazar district.
U.S. authorities
stated in a news conference in Dhaka the situation in Myanmar was
still being grave for that Rohingya people.
