0 Under-fire Moshiur declines happening leave

Prime Minister's Consultant Dr. Moshiur Rahman has refuted reviews that he's on leave from work despite the fact that several top government sources confirmed he's taken leave apparently to obtain the World Financial loan for Padma Bridge.

"I've not requested any leave by now. You don't need to do this has come to light," Moshiur told bdnews24.com around 11pm on Monday.

The under-fire consultant, who's even the Integrity Consultant within the Padma bridge project, was absent in Monday's regular weekly Cabinet meeting he usually attends. This gave rise to whispers he acquired leave.

However, several sources told bdnews24.com on Monday evening that Moshiur, who recommends the Pm on economic matters, had left office temporarily giving directly into pressure from ruling party stalwarts over 'corruption' within the bridge project.

"This isn't true. I've not gone on leave," Moshiur stated when arrived at by telephone.

Among these contradicting reviews, a government source stated Moshiur is declining to take leave despite pressure, putting the federal government inside a place of bother.

When requested about Moshiur's absence, Cabinet Secretary M. Mosharraf Hossain Bhuyian told bdnews24.com: "I had been busy finding the Pm and then using the agenda from the meeting. And So I can't say whether he came or otherwise.”

On if the Consultant resigned, Bhuiyan stated he understood nothing relating to this.
